Visual Saturday: The spider who bit Peter Parker

For a brilliantly scripted and unexpected take on the “greater story” of Spiderman, look no further than MAN-SPIDER by Tom Oxenham. Whether it’s watching our forlorn protagonist going about such decidedly human activities as packing lunch, or in turn being shooed out of the house because he wrapped his girlfriend’s pet dog in plastic foil, one is struck by both the hilarious absurdity of it all and the artistic elegance by which our hero’s existential crisis is conveyed.
